Naturally False, 2009

Copper-plating and veneer are materials usually found as surface finishes, used for their decorative value. In ‘Naturally False’ the two come together creating tension between them as well as collaborating as one. Together they create the structure and give unpredictable outcomes, questioning the amount of control the design has or should have.
